MYSTERY ROUND

Halloween Candy

Have you bought some already - and if so, are you sneaking some here and there? I'll ask a candy related question, you give the answer.

For example, What is the best candy to give out for Halloween?

Answer: Necco wafers, duh!

1. What quintessential Halloween candy was originally called chicken feed?
2. In what year did Reese's Peanut Butter Pumpkins launch nationally -- the same year as the Beanie Babies launch, Jurassic Park's release, the Waco (cult) siege, and the passing of celebrities Audrey Hepburn, River Phoenix, Brandon Lee, and Andre the Giant?
3. Since the 1960s, candy makers wanted trick-or-treat night covered by Daylight Saving (an extra hour of daylight == extra money on candy getting & sales). During the 1985 U.S Congressional hearings on Daylight Saving, the industry put what mellow crème confection / candy (only available around Halloween) on the seat of every senator, hoping to win a little favor?
4. What I consider a terrible Halloween treat, the Kathy Kaye company makes 1 oz. balls of what?
5. Frankford Gummy Body Parts feature 5 parts - one's an internal organ, two share a first letter, and the last two share a first letter as well (but dif from the other 2's first letter) - and all of them start with letters in the first half of the alphabet. Name each yummy gummy part.
6. Another terrible get - and is more connected with a different holiday and shape/color, what orange, pumpkin shaped or white, ghost shaped 'treat' made by the Just Born company may you unfortunately receive on Sunday night?
